Senior

I cant even believe how fast time has gone. Its finally sinking in that this is my last year here at good old DHS. This year is absolutely great! Homecoming is coming up and school is crazy trying to get everything planned. Last weekend i went and did my senior pictures and they turned out great. Volleyball is also going great. We only have one conference loss and it is to camas. We play them again tonight and hopefully we can play the way we know how. 234 days until I am no longer a Stoddard but will become a Hepworth. I don't even know how to describe the feeling I have knowing that I'm going to marry the person i know I'm supposed to be with. I never imagined that my life would end up being this wonderful. I want to let everyone know how much i appreciate what they do for me, and also that I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for them!

Crazy Summer!

Well only a few short weeks and I am on to my senior year. So much has happened this summer and I cant even believe it. Dan is going to be getting a house towards the end of the year and then I will move in a mere 2 days after my graduation. Trey will be living with him when he gets it and then will most likely be living with us for a while after that. I cant even begin to explain how excited I am for volleyball to start. August 14 is the day. Well I will be leaving on a BPA and FFA camping trip August 3 and wont be back til the 5. We finally figured out a day when my family can come and enjoy the chaos we deal with lol they are going to come boating with us on the 10th and I cant wait. Even though I have loved every minute of being with dan almost everyday I do miss my mom. Dan and I have finally decided that we are most likely going to stay in Murtaugh. We are almost guaranteed one out of four houses in Murtaugh. So Dan is pretty excited. He is going to be attending CSI this year which is a good thing because he isnt going away he is actually moving closer to me and will be at pretty much all of my games. I still cant even believe that I'm a senior and two days after my graduation I will be getting married.

Dan and I booked our honeymoon this month. We are going on a Carribean Cruise. We will leave the 28th for salt lake and then we will fly into Miami where we will depart for our cruise. Our first stop is in Half Moon Cay Bahamas and from there we will visit Grand Turks, Puerto Rico, and St Thomas. It sounds like a very exciting trip. We are down to just 297 days before our wedding. It is so hard to believe how fast time flies.

I also got to be part of the experience of watching Thor Ronald Barry being born, it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen in my life. Needless to say I cant wait to have one of my own but until then I am proud to call Thor my baby Barry. You can ask anyone when he comes into the room am I totally jumping until i get to hold him.

This summer has been my best summer ever! Hopefully next summer will be even better because i will have a place for my family to come stay and visit!! Thanks for everything my Hepworth Family and everyone in the Murtaugh Community!

Crazy Life

Well only 7 days of school left. I can't believe it. Jaren graduates on May 19 and Dan graduates May 21. Things have been really crazy this past month. Im finishing up my college class but as soon as summer starts i will enroll in more online classes to get me ahead for next year. Some things happened and the wedding is no longer happening in December. We will be doing it the Saturday after my graduation. I've had a really hard with all of this and it has definately not helped mine and dans relationship. We are just taking the blows one step at a time and just remembering that no matter what anyone else says or does we will be together in the end.

In the past month Valerie, Corbin, Dan, and I all completed not only one but two proms. It was very hectic and im glad to say that its done. Even though we all had a blast. I still cant believe how fast time is flying though.

Valerie got a full ride scholarship to BYU-I. I couldnt be happier for her. We have already planned a visit. lol. Valerie has helped me in so many ways, i dont even know how to thank her. She is the best friend that anyone could ask for. Through all of this she has been the one there to make sure I'm okay and to tell me that everything is going to be alright. Through everything that has been going on with me and Dan, Valerie has helped me so much. She just keeps telling me that I dont need to worry about when anyone else says because dan loves me and i'm marrying him and no one else. Buddy I love you so much! You are truly like a sister to me. Thanks for everything.

Wow

I didnt realize how long it had been since i posted on here. Well not much has changed. This year has gone by so fast, i cant even believe it. Only 34 more days of school and i will officially be a senior and Daniel will be graduated. I cant believe how fast time has gone since Daniel and I started dating. We dont even realize how long we have been together until we look back on all of the memories we have together. It seems like just yesterday we started our count until the wedding and it was 292 days, but now we are down to only 257. Daniel was picked as the Murtaugh High School Athletic and Academic student. He will be going to a big dinner at the Turf Club. When he first told me I was so happy for him and he was excited as well until he found out he could only take two people(which either eliminated me or one of his parents). I told him that it was something he needed to take his parents to. He agreed but made sure that I knew if he could he would take me in a heartbeat. He takes such good care of me, I dont know what i would do without him.
Since my last entry i had found out that during basketball I got a stress fracture in my foot and I ended up having to wear a boot, which put me out for track. This was extremely hard for me. So i just had to sit down and look at all the things i told dan when he was in his boot and i realized I needed to do the same things that I told him. After 3 long weeks in the boot I was okayed to take it off and start trying to walk normal again. Although I still am not a part of track at least i can still go and support Dan and Jaren.
Over spring break I stayed with Dan and helped on the farm. It was very interesting. Also during spring break jaren went on a cruise and had an absolute blast. I still cant believe that him and Dan will both be graduating this year. Wow my life is just zooming by. I almost forgot about the sports side. Well even though I was hurt I got to play a little during state. Our first game was against garden valley and what an amazing game it was. We beat garden valley by 2 after jesse was fouled at the buzzer and got to shoot 2 free throws. Our next match was against Carey and the girls definately showed everyone who deserved to be in the championship game they were also defeated. This put us in the championship game with Richfield and it was a hard fought battle but we just got the short end of the stick but what and amazing season. The boys also made it to state but lost there first two games, but they were both close.

School

Wow these past few weeks have been crazy and the craziness will continue for the next couple weeks. Our basketball team made it to state then advanced into the championship game while at the state tournament. I had a really hard time up at state only playing a few minutes a game, because of my knee. Even though we lost to Richfield in the championship it was an awesome game and I couldn't have asked for a better team.
The boys tournaments started this week and our boys made it to state for the first time in 8 years. We were all so excited. They will play Richfield Saturday for the Diistrict Title. Dan has had a really hard time this week wanting to play, we all told him that if he felt like he could play we would all be okay with it but he doesnt think he can. He just hates watching his team play without him. Sadly enough i know how it feels. Well if you dont already know Dan and I are engaged. We plan on getting married December 19 in the Twin Falls Temple.
The week after boys state i will be going to Boise yet again to compete in Business Professionals of America. I made it to state in the Legal Office Procedures competition. I will let you know how everything goes.

*Sigh*

Well after a very tough week already things dont seem to be getting better. We had a game monday against Richfield and I ended up in the Emergency Room with a knee injury. Well I've been hoping that it would start feeling better so that i could play in our tournaments this week but that probably isnt going to happen.
Well at lunch to day it was brought to our attention that it was published in the newspaper that Jesse and I would not be playing due to our injuries. The article is below. You know up until now I never realized how much sports actually meant to me.

Richfield, Dietrich girls aim to cement dominance with state berths
It takes just two more victories for the Richfield girls to win the Northside Conference, but Dietrich could have one last chance to knock off No. 1.The Northside tournament begins today at Dietrich High School with Bliss, Camas County, Magic Valley Christian and Carey battling it out for a shot to upset either the Tigers or Blue Devils in the semis. The top three teams will receive berths to the Class 1A Division II state championship tournament in Nampa."Definitely, Richfield is the team to beat," Dietrich coach Acey Shaw said. "They've proved it through the season. They're beatable, but we have to limit turnovers, and our field-goal percentage has to be around 40 or 50 percent."Richfield (20-0) is led by Teenie Kent, who has averaged 18 points per game and four steals. Michelle Kent has put up more than 11 points and six rebounds, while Shasha Kent and Lea Piper contribute more than eight points per game. Piper leads in rebounding with seven per game. The Blue Devils (15-5) will get the other first-round bye. Senior Jesse Dill leads the team in multiple categories (16.8 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 2.3 assists, 2.6 steals), but sore ribs suffered during last Monday's game against Richfield may limit her playing time. In addition, Halie Stoddard has a tweaked knee. These two teams could face off for a third time, but No. 3 seed Carey could be a roadblock for the Blue Devils."We beat Carey twice," Shaw said. "But they've got athletes and could very well beat us."

Well the only thing I have to say to my team is good luck and I will be there cheering you on the whole way. Bring it Home!!!

Crazy

Well my moms surgery went great. She is doing really good. Just really sore. Well over the past couple weeks our coach has tried to get us a couple more games since we had about 4 cancelled. Well he accomplished his goal and we have 4 games a week for the next 2-3 weeks. It is going to be hectic. He added the Jerome JV, the Minico Juniors, and also the Challis Varsity. It is going to be a very tiring week. When I'm not going to be busy with basketball I will be taking a digital photography class online. I'm very excited for this class. Things have changed so much for me already this year. At the beginning of the year I was wanting to go into Sports Medicine but that changed and it became accounting since I've lately discovered I'm pretty good at it. But I'm still not sure what I want to do so I figure I will just jump around and do a bunch of different things and see which one I like the best, who knows maybe I'll end up going into photography.

Tough couple weeks

Well for my first week back since break I can officially say I am exhausted. Although this was only a four day week is still seemed like and eternity. Part of the reason could have been because I've been so worried about Dan and my Mom. My mom had been having really bad stomach pains so she went to the dr and found out that she not only has one hernia but she has two. It has been really stressful on the whole family. She went to see the surgeon and is going to have surgery monday morning. It will be very interesting not having her be able to do everything that needs to be done, but i think that we will be able to make it through(Or at least I hope). As you probably know Dan was sick almost the whole christmas break and we ended up taking him to the emergency room. I dont think I've ever been so scared in my life. He has what they call virual stomatitis. Well the sores that he had in him mouth ended up going down his esophagus and then into his stomach. This was causing him to have really bad chest pains. They gave him so medicine and are treating this very agressively. He has had the hardest time getting through this between just being sick and not getting to play basketball. Knowing how bad he is hurting absolutely breaks my heart. But through all of his problems something good happened, he was selected as KMVT's Academic All-Star. I am so proud of him. The funny thing is that Shala and I seem more excited about it than he does. But I guess when your so exhausted that you can only stay awake for an hour a day nothing seems that great. I just hope he gets better soon I miss having my boy.

Well the first half of the school year is finally over. During the years things have been absolutely crazy. Between sports, homework, and just making everyday intersting. I was going through all the pictures of this school year so far and it is just hilarious to sit back and remember everything that went on. Its amazing how fast life goes by.
